Mindfulness & SEL Mentorship
Personalized 1-on-1 social-emotional coaching for kids
Empower your child with the social-emotional skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
Empower your child with the social-emotional skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
I get it because I see it all the time with my clients and their kids.
This is possible for you, your child, and your entire family.
Mindfulness mentorship is a unique experience where I meet the child each week in an online classroom, and we engage in self-awareness practices, social-emotional learning, growing, and reflecting together. Each session is tailored to meet the needs, levels, and interests of your child or tween.
I create a welcoming and safe space for both of us to fully show up, engage in what’s present, and add important life skills to our life toolboxes. These sessions are also interactive and fun; they include drawing activities, videos, singing, creating mind maps, and playing games — all based on social-emotional practices kids can use in their daily lives.
Social-emotional skills and knowledge empower your child. We cover areas like:
“My eldest is extremely sensitive and would struggle to manage his huge feelings and would lash out at others. After working with Kelsey and learning how to use his breath and embrace all of the parts of him, he can now talk about his feelings as they are appearing and his mind allows him some time to choose how to respond instead of simply letting the feelings take over. I cannot recommend Kelsey highly enough!”

Mother of David and Sammy
My daughter was struggling with an emotional conflict and having trouble talking about it when I reached out to Kelsey. They developed a warm rapport almost immediately, and Sam quickly went from feeling very alone with her problem to looking forward to their meetings. Meeting over Zoom in her own environment helped Sam be honest and open, which would have been more difficult in an office environment.
Sam always leaves her meetings with a smile and I’ve seen her incorporate the tools and language she’s learned from Kelsey in the middle of a conflict. Working with Kelsey has changed the tone of the conflicts in our home. We can now address big issues in a calm, non-threatening way because we better understand our conflicts.
The write up Kelsey provides after each meeting helps me discuss with my daughter what she is processing. I feel safe and comforted knowing that I’ve found a trusted source and guide for her. Sam enjoys these meetings so much that I’m confident she’ll always be willing to discuss new issues with Kelsey, and being able to provide this support for my daughter is priceless.

I always look forward to my classes with Ms. Kelsey because they make me feel happier and more mindful instead of mindFULL.
Ms. Kelsey combines things I like, such as Harry Potter, into our games. Once she described a situation and asked me to write what Hermione would say using NVC. When we talked about what makes individuals special, I wrote about what’s special about different characters from Harry Potter.
I get to choose what we start our classes with and I like watching animations to learn about new subjects. I like emotional roll-call, which asks me what I’m feeling at that moment. We also talk about why I feel that way. I always feel an 8 or higher during class. That’s why I like sessions with Ms. Kelsey.

My name is Kelsey Beth.
I am a lover of coffee shops, travels, doodles, and most of all — teaching and guiding children!
I have spent the majority of my life healing my own emotional experience, and in the meantime, have trained and learned how to teach children to do the same, so they can save years of unveiling stories and unlayering emotions from their childhood.
I believe your child and every child deserves this type of social and emotional spring of well-being.

You are completely welcome to join your child’s sessions. I leave it up to the parents and child to decide what is best for them. I also send you recordings of each lesson, as well as written comments too, if you feel it is better for your child to engage in our sessions individually.
I am currently based in The Hague, Netherlands (time zone GMT +1). However, I spend much of my time traveling and visiting family in the United States, where I was born and raised.
Full payment is due at the start of our sessions together. Payment plans are also available if requested.
Currently, payments are not refundable for this service. However, if you feel these sessions are not working out for you or your child midway through the sessions, please contact me and we can come up with a plan that feels good for both of us.

“Kelsey Beth is a wonderful, caring teacher. She has a fun way of presenting information through art, music, and stories. She left a lasting impression on my daughter and got her to engage, which is a difficult task. We really enjoyed this experience. If your kids need help understanding what’s going on in their minds and how to deal with it, Kelsey Beth can help!”
